What’s with the superiority of vaginal birthers? I’ll admit it, I once was one of them. Of course this was before I’d given birth. When I was pregnant with my daughter, I envisioned a totally natural birth. I was all ready to drop her in an open field, cut the cord with a nearby branch, and wrap her up in a hemp blanket. It didn’t go like that. She was breech and late, so after much protest I succumbed to a C-section. Sure I felt like a truck had hit me for the first few days afterward, but at least I could still hold my pee in. Life is full of trade-offs.

Johnson and Johnson enlisted Law & Order: SVU star Mariska Hargitay to create a series of mom-focused animated shorts. And new media studio Deca got all parental with CoolMom….Why are moms suddenly so hot? As we noted in February, BSM Media reported that 80 percent of moms had watched an online video in the last week.

Peel, who opened Spago in 1982 as head chef under Wolfgang Puck, has bought a classic Mediterranean in Windsor Square for $3.1 million, according to the Multiple Listing Service…Peel’s wife, comedian Daphne Brogdon, is host of TV Guide Channel’s weekly series “The Fashion Team.” She is creator of CoolMom.com. And we’re going to assume she leaves the cooking to her hubbo.
