Screen Savers. Diggnation. Totally Rad Show. Project Lore? Alex Albrecht has been in the entertainment business for quite some time but his newest project, a niche World of Warcraft show for the web, is likely the most interesting. At least it is for us! The Project was setup to bring five guys, four camera men and one World, of Warcraft, together to create the best multimedia MMORPG game guides. Project Lore successfully captivates their audience on a weekly basis with their awesome chemistry, entertaining rapport, and coming together to show the progress of a group of level 70 players who love beer and pizza and loathe Fel Orcs.
Announcing the NewTeeVee Top 10 Breakout Video Stars of 2008: Xeni Jardin
Here at NewTeeVee, we honestly wouldn’t be surprised to get a memo stating that the entire Internet took a vote and elected Xeni Jardin their queen. So to explain what makes her a star would probably take more words than this space allows. But explaining what makes her a Breakout Video Star of 2008? We can kick it off with very few words: Boing Boing TV.
Are your online friends as important as friends in real life?
Momversation is a pretty innovative project, sponsored by Target, in which yours truly is also participating (my first episode, which involves my saying the word sex more than I have ever done in front of strangers, is coming up soon). It’s like a rotating video “conversation” among some pretty rockin’ mom bloggers, all of whom are pretty smart, funny, outspoken women, and I only wish we could find ourselves in the same room at the same time. Instead, one of us starts off the conversation, and each of us shoots our responses at home.

I’m involved in quite a few extracurricular projects these days, but none are as exciting (and different) as this one.
[DRAMATIC PAUSE]
I’m thrilled to announce the launch of Momversation, a rotating video “conversation” among me and seven other smartalicious mom bloggers. These are smart, funny, outspoken women, and I only wish we could find ourselves in the same room at the same time. Instead, one of us starts off the conversation, and each of us shoots our responses at home. So, not only do you get to listen to our crazy banter, you get to peek inside my sumptuous office. The one that, minutes before filming, had wet towels on the floor.
Momversation, Episode One & Win a Guitar!!!
I’m excited to announce that along with some INCREDIBLE Blogger-ladies (Heather of Dooce, Alice of Finslippy Maggie of MightyGirl, Asha of ParentHacks, Daphne of Cool Mom, Nataly of Work-It Mom, and Mindy of The Mommy Blog) I’ve been asked to participate in a new web series called “Momversation” which will be airing three times a week for the next few months.
Momversation.comLaunch!
That’s right—y’all aren’t going to BELIEVE what I’ve been up to with seven other mom bloggers. We’ve been creating Momversation. Momversation is a video show and website that brings together the web’s most outspoken mom-bloggers to discuss topics and share their thoughts. The format is unique because the cast of women aren’t in the same room together. Instead, all the material is shot by the panelists in their spare time in their own homes. Because GOD KNOWS what would happen if we were all in the same room together.
Momversation
Momversation is a video show and website that brings together the web’s most outspoken moms to discuss the topics that matter to them. Momversation is hosted by a rotating cast of eight influential mom-bloggers including Heather Armstrong of dooce and Daphne Brogdon of Cool Mom. The community can also “join the momversation” by posting comments and participating in forums.
